The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gene throws a big shot that misses.
Kehoe keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kehoe walks into a left hand.
Kehoe fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Gene lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kehoe circles away quickly and effectively.
Gene has Kehoe up against the cage in a clinch.

Kehoe blocks an uppercut.
Gene tries a body shot but Kehoe blocks it.

Gene swings wildly with an uppercut but Kehoe uses good head movement to avoid it.

Kehoe pulls guard effortlessly.
Kehoe tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Kehoe is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kehoe seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Gene is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
