The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cesariny looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Santos closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cesariny to the mat! Cesariny manages to get full guard.
Santos must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Santos manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cesariny manages to get himself to full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Santos accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
