These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willemoes throws the left hand but Marx avoids the punch easily.

Marx shoots in and gets a takedown into Willemoes's guard.

Willemoes had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Marx defends it easily.

Marx shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Willemoes sprawls well. Willemoes wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Marx gets slowly back to his feet.
Nice uppercut lands for Willemoes. That snapped Marx's head back.

Willemoes softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Marx is out cold! Willemoes jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
