Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jahom Le Emaont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rusty James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rusty James has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jahom Le Emaont!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rusty James!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for James.
Emaont tries to clinch but James moves away
and James cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Emaont.

Emaont closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
James tries to bench press Emaont off him but Emaont keeps the position.
Emaont throwing shots but missing, from side control.
James is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
You can see the frustration on James's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

James manages to work his way to half guard, despite Emaont's best efforts.
James makes his way to full guard. A much better position for James.
Emaont trying to control the position from guard on top but James is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
James is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Emaont could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
James is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

James wants to lay and pray for a moment but Emaont keeps working.
Emaont tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

James is taking a breather. Emaont says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Rusty James wasn't active enough on the ground.
James throws a right and a left that both miss.
James dips to his left and cracks Emaont with an uppercut!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
James uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Emaont has time to react.
James connects with a body shot.
Emaont is looking to clinch.
Emaont wants to clinch up but James keeps it at a distance.
James bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Emaont's head backwards.

Emaont tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. James manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
James throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Emaont moves to clinch but James breaks away
and James counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

James drops Emaont with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Emaont looks back up at him and smiles so James waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Emaont is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Emaont walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from James! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
