The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wuan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Wuan connects with a solid leg kick.

Junior lands with a right hand.
Junior throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wuan sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Junior throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wuan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wuan fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Junior checks it well.

and Wuan counters with a series of strikes. Junior will be more careful next time no doubt.

Junior throws a chopping leg kick but Wuan manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Junior throws a lazy right hand but Wuan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Wuan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Junior has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Junior is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Wuan's half guard.
Junior is looking to take a break and control but Wuan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
