Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tasalakki circles away from the clinch attempt
and Tasalakki counters with a slapping leg kick.
Fitzhugh walks into a straight right hand from Tasalakki.

Tasalakki throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Fitzhugh was covering up waiting for the punch and Tasalakki finishes the takedown easily into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Fitzhugh looking for subs off his back but Tasalakki has passed one foot through into half guard.

Fitzhugh wants to sweep but no luck.
Fitzhugh bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tasalakki's guard.

Fitzhugh drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Tasalakki manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Fitzhugh has Tasalakki in his guard.

Fitzhugh has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tasalakki can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Tasalakki tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tasalakki has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Fitzhugh is pushing Tasalakki's head away, looking to escape. Tasalakki manages to hold on to the position though.
Tasalakki is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Fitzhugh's shoulder. That is not cool.

Tasalakki remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Tasalakki is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Fitzhugh knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

and Tasalakki counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fitzhugh thinking.

Fitzhugh tries to buck Tasalakki off but Tasalakki is having none of it.

Tasalakki is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Fitzhugh has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Tasalakki has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Fitzhugh taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Tasalakki doesn't care though - he's delighted!
