The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Takeo Matsukata seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Matsukata shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Power but Power pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Matsukata has a takedown stuffed.

Matsukata rushes Power and presses him up against the cage.

Matsukata fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Power to the ground. Matsukata is now in Power's guard.
Matsukata wants to pass the guard but Power is keeping the position.
