Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darrian Ashoka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aj Styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Styles has chosen I Am by Dale Oliver as his entrance music. Aj Styles is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jorge Garcia and Alyssa Summers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ashoka connects with a solid leg kick.
Styles on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Ashoka. Ashoka obviously looking to wear him down.
The crowd cheers as Ashoka lands an impressive looking overhand right. Styles doesn't seem phased though.
Styles fails with a takedown attempt.

Ashoka forces Styles back against the cage and clinches.

Ashoka prevents a takedown attempt there.

Ashoka breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Styles misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Darrian Ashoka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aj Styles.
An inside leg kick lands from Ashoka.

Styles blocks a low kick nicely.

Ashoka tries to keep at a distance but Styles has taken the fight into the clinch.
Ashoka lands an elbow just above Styles 's eye.

It looks like Aj Styles has been cut.
Ashoka stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Ashoka struggles to land a body shot inside as Styles controls his hands.
Ashoka is working Styles over against the cage.
Styles changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ashoka fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Styles tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ashoka manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ashoka scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ashoka lands a big head kick that sends Styles tumbling to the mat! Ashoka takes a step backwards and waves Styles back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Styles is rocked!
A low kick from Ashoka is predictable there
and Styles cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Styles on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Styles is still on wobbly legs! Can Ashoka finish him?

That has opened up Aj Styles's cut even more.
Styles moves out of range of the body kick.
Styles seems to have recovered his senses.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ashoka.
Ashoka throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ashoka lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Styles has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Styles and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Styles has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ashoka.

Styles shoots in for a double leg but Ashoka sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ashoka throws a head kick that misses.
Styles chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ashoka can pounce on him.
A looping hook to the body misses from Styles. Ashoka does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ashoka throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Darrian Ashoka is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Ashoka lands with a left to the head.
Ashoka scores with an uppercut up the middle.

The cut above Aj Styles's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Styles tries a body shot but Ashoka blocks it.
Styles can't find room to land a body shot as Ashoka controls the action.
Ashoka lands with a light punch inside.
Ashoka lands a nice elbow.
Styles takes a shot to the head.

Aj Styles's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Ashoka pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ashoka throws a jab but it's blocked by Styles.
Styles tries to close the distance and clinch but Ashoka swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Styles is trying desperately to land a takedown but Ashoka is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Styles.

Ashoka forces Styles back against the cage and clinches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ashoka putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Styles in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Styles looks gassed!
Styles blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Styles doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
