The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

HardStyle is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Labonte must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

HardStyle is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Labonte defends well.
HardStyle really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

HardStyle's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Labonte is holding on here and HardStyle must be using up a lot of energy. Labonte has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! HardStyle gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Arthmael HardStyle spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
