Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Conley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dolby Dames (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dames is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Deep In The Heart Of Texas Song . Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conley connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Dolby Dames has been cut.
Conley lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Dames tries to close the distance and clinch but Conley swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dames staying out of range there.
Rick Conley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Dames.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Dames wants to control but Conley is keeping him busy.
Conley on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Conley tries to get out of the position.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Dames goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Conley rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Dames's guard! Nice work there by Conley!
Conley wants to control from the top but Dames keeps moving.
Dames is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Conley fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dames manages to avoid it.

Conley lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

A punch combination from Conley misses.
Dames throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Conley connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Conley throws a front kick that sends Dames stumbling back into the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dames fails to land with a series of punches.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Conley.
Dames looks gassed!
Conley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Conley pushes Dames away with a front kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Conley.
Conley moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Conley is looking to slow Dames down with leg kicks.
Rick Conley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Conley throws a shot to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Conley lands with a shot to the body.
Dames takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Dames takes one to the side of the head.
Conley misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Conley throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Conley paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
A slapping leg kick lands for Conley.
Dames has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Conley.
Dames takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dames crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Conley - the referee stops the clock and Dames gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Conley. Dames manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Dames has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Conley.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Dames walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Conley explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Conley cracks Dames with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

That has opened up Dolby Dames's cut even more.
A jab from Conley does it's job there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Whack! Conley lands a heavy head kick that drops Dames. The ref tackles Conley to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Dames was done.
