Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Spox Beard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mestre Noturno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Beard might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Spock's Beard - The Great Nothing. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noturno tries for a takedown but Beard sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Beard stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Beard wants it to stay on the feet.
Nice sprawl there from Beard as Noturno shoots in.
Spox Beard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mestre Noturno.
Noturno throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Beard with a strong takedown there and he's ended up in side control.

Noturno is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Beard takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Beard! Noturno is hurt baaadly! Beard is firing away with more strikes - Noturno is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
