Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rickson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Map Gostos A (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gostos A is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Ratamahatta - Sepultura. Map Gostos A acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Matheus Silva and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gostos A scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Gostos A cracks Silva with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Gostos A drives through with a takedown into Silva's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gostos A working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Gostos A slips nicely into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gostos A is looking for a kimura but Silva is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gostos A to get the leverage.

Gostos A seems to be working for a kimura but Silva defends the submission attempt.

Gostos A is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Silva is just riding it out for now. Gostos A eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Gostos A throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Silva works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Gostos A drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Silva dives on top into guard.

Gostos A is looking for a triangle here but Silva uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Gostos A is trying to get back to half guard.

Silva tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Silva has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Silva is working Gostos A over with some ground and pound from side control.
Gostos A tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Silva presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Gostos A is trying desperately to improve position.

Silva is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Gostos A is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Gostos A flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Silva anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Gostos A and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Silva slips an arm under Gostos A chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Silva has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Silva is squeezing on Gostos A like an anaconda would it's prey. Gostos A fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
