Martinez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Champ Is Here kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez tries to clinch but Brooking is having none of it.
Martinez throws a right hand that Brooking ducks under and follows up with a left that Brooking also avoids with ease.

Martinez shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Martinez was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Brooking is looking to improve his position but Martinez isn't that keen on the idea.
Brooking has given up his back here. Will Martinez look for the submission or keep pounding away?

Martinez wants to stand but Brooking is controlling the position.

Brooking drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Brooking seems to have locked his on tight now - Martinez screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Brooking, as he picks up the win!

Camden Brooking decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
