PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Blasko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Tractor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tractor has chosen Everyday I'm Hustlin as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hector Tractor!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tractor moves out of range of the strikes.
Blasko shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tractor but Tractor pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Blasko looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Tractor looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Tractor shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Tractor breaks from Blasko's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Tractor is landing with some decent strikes but Blasko is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Tractor is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Blasko is surviving well by controlling Tractor's body position as best he can.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Tractor postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Blasko had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Tractor is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Blasko Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Tractor's back instead.
Blasko doesn't have the hooks in and Tractor manages to turn into his guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Tractor misses with a wild combination.
Tractor fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Tractor!
Blasko misses with a body kick.
Tractor just misses with a punch to the body.
Blasko shoots for a double leg takedown but Tractor sprawls well. He's pushed Blasko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Blasko. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Blasko cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Tractor fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Blasko looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Tractor misses with a few strikes there.
Blasko doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Tractor drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

That was a close second round but I would say that John Blasko will probably get the nod.

Well Tractor has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
