Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dragon Tamer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Psilocybin Rain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Rain's choice of entrance music: What you need. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dragon Tamer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Psilocybin Rain!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Leandro Rodrigues and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tamer shoots in and gets a takedown into Rain's guard.
Rain has his hands on Tamer's head, controlling the position.
Rain keeping moving, preventing Tamer from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tamer wants to pass the guard but Rain is keeping the position.
Tamer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Tamer is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rain is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rain has escaped and now he's on top!

Rain stalling.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Rain seems to be looking for submissions.
Rain prevents Tamer from standing back up.

Rain is looking for a kimura but Tamer is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rain to get the leverage.
Tamer is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rain's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rain's back!

Tamer seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Rain's chin but Rain turns very nicely into Tamer's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Rain.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rain stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tamer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Tamer drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rain looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rain looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rain!

Tamer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rain sprawls well initially but Tamer persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Rain is pushing down on Tamer's leg trying to pass to half guard. Tamer is fighting to maintain full guard but Rain has managed to sneak the leg through.

Rain is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Tamer sees it coming and defends easily.
Tamer tries to kick Rain off but Rain keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Tamer kicks Rain off and gets back to his feet.
Psilocybin Rain has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

No luck for Rain with that takedown attempt.
Rain takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Tamer gets a double leg takedown into Rain's guard.
Rain has a closed guard, preventing Tamer from standing up.

Rain has his foot on Tamer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tamer works his way back into a safe position though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Rain is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Tamer defends well.
Tamer wants to control from the top but Rain keeps moving.

Well Tamer has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
