Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Amadeu Nicanor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gasan Ibragimov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gasan Ibragimov is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nicanor lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ibragimov circles away quickly and effectively.
Nicanor throws an off balance right hand

and Ibragimov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Nicanor has his feet on Ibragimov's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Nicanor throws a series of punches but Ibragimov avoids them all with ease.
Nicanor misses with a double jab

and Ibragimov counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ibragimov wants to stand up but Nicanor is controlling the position.

Nicanor kicks Ibragimov off and gets back to his feet.

Ibragimov gets tackled into the cage by Nicanor. Nicanor maintains the clinch.
Nicanor prevents a takedown attempt there.
Nicanor gets underhooks to prevent Ibragimov's takedown attempt.

A frustrated look appears on Nicanor's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Nicanor wants to get back to striking at distance but Ibragimov won't allow it.

Ibragimov has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Nicanor after a bit of a struggle.

Nicanor tries to circle away but Ibragimov has him pinned against the cage.

Nicanor is pressed up against the cage. Ibragimov has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Nicanor down to the mat. Nicanor avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Nicanor cracks Ibragimov with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Nicanor has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ibragimov to stand back up!

It looks like Gasan Ibragimov has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nicanor fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Ibragimov to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Ibragimov looks to clinch but Nicanor throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Ibragimov taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
