The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Pakkinen shoots in looking for a takedown. Stongarm tries to sprawl out of it but Pakkinen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stongarm manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Stongarm can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pakkinen is looking to escape.
Oh Pakkinen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Stongarm has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Pakkinen's face.

Wilhelm Stongarm showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Stongarm gets to his feet. Pakkinen looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

and Stongarm counters with a left and a right that stings Pakkinen.
Stongarm keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Well Stongarm has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
