The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Bob misses with a lunging right hand
and O Toole counters with a body kick.
Billy Bob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
O Toole slips under a jab.
O Toole turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Bob misses with an uppercut. O Toole saw that one coming.

Bob tries for a takedown but O Toole sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

O Toole defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bob.
O Toole throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Bob looks to land a left hand but O Toole moved out of range nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and O Toole counters with a nice low kick that buckles Bob's knee momentarily.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Bob. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and O Toole counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
O Toole scores with a nice body kick.

Crunch! O Toole slams his shin into Bob's torso.
Nice uppercut lands for O Toole. That snapped Bob's head back.
O Toole uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bob.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

O Toole is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

O Toole utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Bob lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
O Toole seems keen to control Bob's posture.

O Toole escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bob gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
O Toole has momentary wrist control but Bob slips an elbow through the middle.
Bob throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as O Toole works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

O Toole pushes a forearm under Bob's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Bob is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
