The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steele misses with a hook. Freeman ducked under it nicely.
Steele stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Freeman shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The fighters circling - Steele throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Steele waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Freeman.
Steele throws a hook but Freeman avoids it easily.
Steele connects with a crisp jab.

It looks like Huey Freeman has been cut.
Freeman moves out of range of the strikes.
Freeman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Steele pinned against the cage. Steele gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Freeman shoots in looking for a takedown. Steele tries to sprawl out of it but Freeman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Steele manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Huey Freeman. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Freeman is defended easily by Steele.
Steele throws an overhand right that lands on Freeman's shoulder, as Freeman tries to avoid the shot.
Freeman misses with a takedown attempt - Steele sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Steele throws a looping overhand right but Freeman ducks down to avoid it.

Freeman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Steele swivels and escapes.

Steele fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Steele cracks Freeman with an open hand slap.

Steele connects with a body shot that sends Freeman's belly button to the back.
Steele misses with an uppercut
and Freeman counters with a lovely straight right hand!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Freeman. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Good exchange - Steele coming out on top.
Steele misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Freeman gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

The fighters circling - Steele throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Steele loads up on a big right hand but Freeman slips the punch.
Steele throws out a loose jab but Freeman uses good head movement to avoid it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Steele looks to throw the jab but Freeman is out of range.

Freeman doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Steele counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Steele misses with an uppercut. Freeman saw that one coming.
Steele misses with a leg kick.
Steele dips to his left and cracks Freeman with an uppercut!

Freeman is rocked!
Steele cracks Freeman with a hook to the temple - Freeman is on wobbly legs here! Steele swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Freeman falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Steele wins by TKO!

An out of breath George Steele thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
