Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Raul Ewing!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Franklyn Lucas and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Baker fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A swing and a miss from Baker.
Baker throws an overhand right that lands on Ewing's shoulder, as Ewing tries to avoid the shot.
Ewing avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Baker shoots in but no luck this time.
Baker shoots for a double leg takedown but Ewing sprawls well. He's pushed Baker's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bryan Baker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Baker tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ewing sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Baker somewhat.
Baker throws a series of strikes that have Ewing backpedaling.
Ewing lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Baker wants to take the fight to the mat but Ewing manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Ewing is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Baker is defending well for now.

Ewing is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Baker is pushing Ewing up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Ewing throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Baker works over Ewing's head and body with a nice combination.
Sloppy strikes from Ewing. Those never looked like landing.
Ewing throws a push kick but Baker slaps the foot to one side.

Baker shoots in and drives through. Ewing sprawls well.
A thudding body kick lands there by Ewing!
Ewing lands a jab to the nose.
Baker sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ewing drives through and clinches with Baker against the cage.

Baker misses with a punch on the inside.
Baker is looking to control Ewing's arms but Ewing gets an underhook and turns him. Now Baker has his back to the cage.
Ewing misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Baker.

Ewing lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Baker has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ewing avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Ewing breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ewing clinches with his opponent.
Baker's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Baker misses with some punches.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ewing works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Raul Ewing dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Bryan Baker's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Ewing scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Baker throws a head kick that misses
and Ewing counters with a slapping leg kick.
Bryan Baker is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Baker gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Baker tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Ewing is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Baker buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Baker!! Baker is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Ewing throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Raul Ewing!
