Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr STEEL PENN (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying STEEL PENN's choice of entrance music: Everything in it's right place. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
STEEL PENN misses with an uppercut
and Brooks counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Brooks scoring well with a low kick there.
STEEL PENN throws a right hand that misses
and Brooks counters with a series of strikes. STEEL PENN will be more careful next time no doubt.
The crowd cheers as STEEL PENN lands an impressive looking overhand right. Brooks doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Eddie Brooks has been cut.
STEEL PENN connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Brooks's hands.
Brooks misses with a two punch combination.
STEEL PENN takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
STEEL PENN missing with a left hand there. Brooks was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
STEEL PENN misses with a looping left.
STEEL PENN takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
A punch lands to the side of Brooks 's head but he takes it in his stride.
STEEL PENN scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Brooks pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces STEEL PENN back to the cage. Brooks follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Brooks paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
STEEL PENN throws a right hand that misses
and Brooks counters with a nice uppercut.
Brooks is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Brooks tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. STEEL PENN manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Good work by STEEL PENN as he checks the leg kick.
STEEL PENN takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
STEEL PENN swings for the body but Brooks moves out of range.
Brooks throws a combination but it was largely blocked by STEEL PENN.
Brooks lands a slapping body shot.

Brooks is looking to wear down STEEL PENN with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

STEEL PENN swats away the attempt to clinch by Brooks.

STEEL PENN throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Brooks throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent STEEL PENN stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brooks shoots for a double leg takedown but STEEL PENN sprawls well. He's pushed Brooks's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
STEEL PENN changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Brooks looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Brooks looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Oh Brooks is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

STEEL PENN throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Brooks seems to have got his legs back now.
Brooks thows a left - swing and a miss!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Brooks fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

STEEL PENN just misses with a punch to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Mr STEEL PENN will probably get the nod.

Brooks lands with a cross.
Mr STEEL PENN seems to be getting the better of the standup.
STEEL PENN fails to land with a series of punches.
Brooks shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts STEEL PENN as he jumps to the side.
Eddie Brooks is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Brooks fakes high and swings low for a body shot but STEEL PENN manages to avoid it.

Brooks jabbing away but nothing is landing.

STEEL PENN is pushing Brooks up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
