The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilkinson throws a head kick but Matter moves out of range.
Wilkinson scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Matter throws a jab but it's blocked by Wilkinson.
Wilkinson throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Wilkinson explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Matter takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Matter swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wilkinson misses with a looping left.
Wilkinson misses with a two punch combination.
Wilkinson just misses with a punch to the body.
Matter misses with a low kick as Wilkinson jumps back.
Matter thows a left - swing and a miss!
Wilkinson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A slow jab from Matter misses its intended target.
Wilkinson throws a chopping leg kick but Matter manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Matter looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Matter takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Wilkinson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Wilkinson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Matter finds it's way round the side to connect with Wilkinson's head.
Matter tries to bum rush Wilkinson with a series of wild strikes but Wilkinson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Matter misses with the combination.
Wilkinson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Matter throws a chopping leg kick but Wilkinson manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
The fight stays on the outside here - Wilkinson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Crunch! Wilkinson slams his shin into Matter's torso.
Matter is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wilkinson tries a head kick but it misses.
Matter circles away from the clinch attempt.
Matter moves out of range of the body kick.
Wilkinson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wilkinson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wilkinson tries to clinch but Matter moves out of range.

Wilkinson gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Matter breaks the clinch.
Wilkinson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Matter swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Wilkinson lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Matter throws a poor cross that misses
and Wilkinson counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Matter digs a good body shot into Wilkinson's ribs.
Wilkinson staying out of range there.
Dark Matter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wilkinson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Wilkinson tries to close the distance and clinch but Matter swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Matter misses the jab.
Wilkinson lands with a slapping head kick.
Matter on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Wilkinson rushes Matter and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Matter is trying to push Wilkinson away but Wilkinson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Wilkinson connects with a nasty looking knee right to Matter's face.

Matter is rocked!
Wilkinson makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Oh Matter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wilkinson landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Matter wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Wilkinson lands a good knee to the midsection. Matter won't want to take too many of those.
Wilkinson has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Matter - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Wilkinson, and another! Matter is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
