Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Father Christmas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbie Gronkowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gronkowski has chosen Glory as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Chad Campbell and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christmas keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Gronkowski swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sloppy strikes from Gronkowski. Those never looked like landing.
Gronkowski lands with a slapping head kick.
Christmas bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gronkowski's head backwards.
Christmas lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gronkowski at a distance.
Christmas throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Gronkowski counters with a shoot takedown. Christmas fights it but they end up in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gronkowski accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Gronkowski drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gronkowski jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Gronkowski's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Gronkowski lands a couple of digs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gronkowski working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Gronkowski trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Gronkowski drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Gronkowski as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Christmas screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Gronkowski! Nice submission victory there!
