Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stephan Dubois (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kain Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kennedy has chosen Sinner by Drowning Pool as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennedy throws a head kick that misses.
Dubois misses with a straight left.
Dubois throws a looping overhand right but Kennedy ducks down to avoid it.
Dubois looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Dubois misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kennedy.
Kennedy avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Dubois swings widly with a right hand
and Kennedy counters with a slapping leg kick.
Kennedy moves forwards but Dubois connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Dubois tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dubois throws a hook but Kennedy blocks it.
Kennedy takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dubois throws a low kick, looking for Kennedy's leg but Kennedy calmly moves out of range.
Stephan Dubois seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kennedy lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Kennedy steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dubois.

Dubois throws a hook but Kennedy avoids it easily.
Dubois misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dubois throws an overhand right that lands on Kennedy's shoulder, as Kennedy tries to avoid the shot.
Dubois is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Kennedy tries a head kick but it misses.
Dubois throws a body punch but Kennedy moves out of range.

and Kennedy counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

and Kennedy counters with an outside leg kick.
Dubois blocks a head kick by Kennedy.
Kain Kennedy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dubois connects with a body shot that sends Kennedy's belly button to the back.
Kennedy plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

and Kennedy counters with a nice leg kick.

Dubois throws a sloppy body shot
and Kennedy counters with a stiff right hand.
Dubois shoots in looking for a takedown. Kennedy tries to sprawl out of it but Dubois keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kennedy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kennedy lands with a slapping head kick.
Dubois looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Dubois fails with a takedown attempt.
Dubois connects with the punch.
Kennedy lands a slapping body shot.
Kennedy scores with a nice strike.
Kennedy scores with a head kick. Dubois tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Dubois doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kennedy circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Dubois drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Kennedy follows Dubois to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kain Kennedy!
