PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Erik Kellenberger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josef Dellal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kellenberger comes into the arena with Reel big fish blaring out of the sound system. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Josef Dellal!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dellal slips a jab from Kellenberger.
Kellenberger throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Dellal on the side of the head.
Dellal tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kellenberger swivels and escapes.
A big left from Dellal misses.
Kellenberger throws a shot from downtown. Dellal moves away and avoids it.
Dellal shoots in for a double leg but Kellenberger sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kellenberger lands with a nice combination. Dellal backs away looking to recover.
Kellenberger throws out a loose jab but Dellal uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dellal fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Erik Kellenberger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josef Dellal.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dellal is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kellenberger to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kellenberger shrugs it off.

Dellal jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Kellenberger is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Kellenberger and Dellal has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
