Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Here Again!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Empty Head!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Again gets a takedown into half guard.
Again thows a huge punch but Head dodges it nicely.
Head makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Head.
Again throwing strikes from guard but Head blocks nicely.
Again trying to control the position from guard on top but Head is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Again postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Head has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Again postures up.
Again trying to stand up but can't free himself from Head's guard.
Again lands a couple of decent looking shots.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Again loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Again knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Head on the ground.
Again stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Head swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Head is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Again shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Head kicks Again off and gets back to his feet.
Again avoids a kick to the body.
Again bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Head takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Head gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Again trying to control from half guard but Head is working away.
Again with the ground and pound but Head uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Again stops Head from standing up.
Again postures up in Head's guard and throws a big left but Head blocks it.
Again throws a big right hand that misses.
Again trying to control but Head is working from the bottom.
Again pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Head is keeping the position for now.
Again has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Head is on top in guard.
Head passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.
Again on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Again tries to get out of the position.
Head decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Again pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Again accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Again is fighting to break Head's control of his arms but Head is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Empty Head has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Head tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Again drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Head gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Again tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Head smiles and moves away.

Here Again dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Head gets caught napping as Again dives in and scores a takedown. Head manages to retain guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Again accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Head keeping moving, preventing Again from controlling successfully.
Head not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Again really is a fat lump.
Head is looking for a triangle but Again pushes his legs off easily.
Head is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Again defends well.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Again drops back, looking for a kneebar! Head looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Head looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Head!

Again tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Head presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Again tries to hold on but Head postures up.

Head looking to control but Again is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Head wants to finish this one by submission but Again is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Head.
Again is working to get back to half guard.
Head throws some wild stikes that Again manages to avoid easily.
Again is looking to get to half guard.
Again is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Again keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Again swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Head trying to control but he's not successful this time.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Head lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Again tries to lock up and control but Head gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Head lands a nice shot to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Empty Head will probably get the nod - 10:9.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Head tries to score a power double leg takedown but Again sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Head somewhat.
Head takes the fight into the clinch.
Again tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Head just stands there and leans against the cage.
Head blocks a body shot from Again.
Head goes for a takedown attempt but Again pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Again shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Head as he jumps to the side.
Head tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Again swivels and escapes.
Here Again has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Empty Head.
Again doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Head counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Again thinking.

Head shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Head takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Head takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Again looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Again looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Again is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Head taking some punishment here, with Again in his half guard.

Head is staying active underneath Again, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Again is looking for a kimura but Head is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Again to get the leverage.
