Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Geodude Golem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinji Takahara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Golem's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Geo dude geo geo dude. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinji Takahara!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Golem throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Takahara's head.
Golem takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Golem turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Takahara throws a head kick but Golem moves out of range.
Golem blocks a head kick by Takahara.
Takahara fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Takahara pulls out of a head kick attempt.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Golem throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Takahara - that will leave a mark!
Takahara shoots in but no luck this time.
Golem throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
A solid leg kick lands there for Golem.
Golem lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Takahara tries a head kick but it misses.
Takahara misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Takahara looks gassed!
Golem thuds a left hand into Takahara's body.
A low kick from Takahara is predictable there
and Golem counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Golem throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Takahara on the side of the head.
Golem fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Golem drops Takahara with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Takahara looks back up at him and smiles so Golem waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Takahara is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Takahara drops his hands momentarily and Golem needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Takahara just on the top of the head. Takahara drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Takahara - he's done!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Geodude Golem!
Our winner, Geodude Golem, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
