Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wandeco Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flavio Marcelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Mad Dog. Wandeco Silva has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a low kick but Marcelo avoids it.
A jab from Silva misses.
Marcelo delivers a nice body kick.

and Marcelo counters with a slapping leg kick.
Marcelo ducks right into an uppercut from Silva.
Silva cracks Marcelo with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Marcelo wants to land a leg kick but Silva is out of range.
Marcelo takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Marcelo throws a series of punches but Silva moves out of range.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Marcelo.

Marcelo shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Marcelo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Marcelo drags the fight down to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Marcelo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Silva defends well.

Marcelo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Silva throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Marcelo walks into a left hand.
Wandeco Silva is winning the standup battle so far.
Silva moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Silva shoots for a takedown but Marcelo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Silva tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Silva throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Marcelo sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wandeco Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
