Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Machene Rehel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes to the cage accompanied by Bring da pain. Rehel has chosen No more sorrow as his entrance music. Jimmy Jackson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Machene Rehel's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Machene Rehel!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Rehel shoots in for a takedown but Jackson shows good takedown defense.
Horrible takedown by Rehel or perhaps it was just good defense by Jackson which made him look bad.
Rehel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jackson as he avoids it easily.
Jimmy Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Machene Rehel.
Rehel changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but Rehel manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Horrible takedown by Jackson or perhaps it was just good defense by Rehel which made him look bad.

enabling Jackson to counter with a crisp jab.

Rehel seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jackson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jackson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Rehel feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jimmy Jackson will probably get the nod.

Jackson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jackson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
