Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wanadi De Santana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kasim Gaziev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Santana is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Wanadi De Santana!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kasim Gaziev!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from De Santana both land. Nice combination.
De Santana is breathing heavily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gaziev.
De Santana looks to throw the jab but Gaziev is out of range.
Gaziev tries for a takedown but De Santana sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Gaziev misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Wanadi De Santana has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kasim Gaziev.
Gaziev dives in and grabs De Santana's left leg, looking for a takedown. De Santana pushes down on Gaziev's head and hops out.
Gaziev ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Gaziev throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Wanadi De Santana seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sloppy strikes from De Santana. Those never looked like landing.
Gaziev misses with a takedown attempt - De Santana sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
De Santana stuffs the takedown attempt from Gaziev. Gaziev gets slowly back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
De Santana takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Gaziev changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. De Santana tries to avoid it but Gaziev manages to keep hold of a leg and drag De Santana to the ground. De Santana escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gaziev closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. De Santana quickly recovers to half guard.
De Santana might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Gaziev is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Gaziev has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can De Santana defend it? Gaziev steps over the head and cranks it - De Santana is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Gaziev!
