Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aconte shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as James sprawls well. James wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Aconte gets slowly back to his feet.
James has closed the distance and engaged Aconte in a clinch.
James breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
James moves into the clinch successfully.
James turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and James manages to end up in side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
James tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Aconte is not content to let James control the position.

James is looking for a kimura but Aconte is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for James to get the leverage.
