The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaa ducks under a wild hook from Bash.
Bash keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jaa.

Bash has closed the distance and engaged Jaa in a clinch.
Jaa is trying to break the clinch but Bash is controlling him.
Jaa jumps guard but Bash turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Jaa is trying to force a seperation but Bash has the dominant position.
Bash gets through Jaa's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Jaa's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bash digs a good hook to Jaa's body.
Jaa misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bash fails to land with a series of punches.
Jaa throws a series of punches but Bash moves out of range.
Jaa throws a head kick that half lands.
A combination from Bash does no damage.
Jaa pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looks like Rony Jaa has been cut.
Jaa throws a head kick but Bash moves out of range.
Jaa takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
