Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Bubba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Big Bubba is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bruno Santos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Big Bubba!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bubba tries to score a power double leg takedown but Santos sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bubba somewhat.
Bubba fails with a takedown attempt.
Santos will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bubba fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bubba.
Bruno Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Big Bubba.
Santos wants to clinch up but Bubba keeps it at a distance.
Santos tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bubba was well out of range. Poor timing from Santos.

Bubba closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Santos did well to prevent Bubba getting side control.

Bubba is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Santos!
Bubba can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Santos is looking to escape.

Bubba frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Bubba tries to control but Santos wriggling away.

Bubba has hold of Santos's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Santos manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Bubba gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Bubba shoots in for a takedown but Santos shows good takedown defense.
Bubba looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Santos tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Bubba counters with an inside leg kick.

Bubba clinches up with Santos and pushes him back against the cage.

Bubba lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Bubba's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Bubba darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Well, if Bubba is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bubba is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Santos sees it coming and defends easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bubba looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Big Bubba dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bubba closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bubba is looking to take a break and control but Santos is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bubba decides to stand up, so the ref orders Santos to his feet.
Bruno Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bubba shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Santos napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Santos defending against the ground and pound.

Sloppy strikes there by Bubba.
Bubba wants to lay and pray for a moment but Santos keeps working.

Bubba stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Bubba closes the distance and pushes Santos back into the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bubba manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Bubba punching from the bottom - just letting Santos know he's still in a fight.

Bubba has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Santos off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Bubba has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Bubba shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Bubba takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Bubba is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Santos can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bubba has control of Santos's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Santos regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Santos is squirming around, avoiding Bubba's attempts to control the action.

Big Bubba showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Bubba gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Santos regains guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Santos is bucking up trying to escape but Bubba cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Bubba has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Santos's face.

Big Bubba is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Big Bubba comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Bubba has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Big Bubba decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
