Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dave Grohl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scevola Zangari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zangari is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Nessun Dorma. Dave Grohl is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Zangari decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Grohl, up you get!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Grohl shoots in for a takedown but Zangari shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Grohl's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Grohl has taken the fight to the clinch.

Grohl ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Grohl no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Grohl wants to stand and escape but Zangari is having none of it.

Grohl is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zangari closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Grohl's guard.
Grohl wants to stand but Zangari is controlling the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Grohl jumps guard and drags Zangari to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Zangari is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Grohl is trying to escape and Zangari transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Grohl is forced to tap! Nice work there by Zangari! Very nice indeed!
