Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pence Apene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kangeroo Poo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poo doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Apene counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Poo is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Apene scores with a couple of nice shots.
Poo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Apene keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Apene uses his free foot to push down on Poo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Poo.

Poo is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Poo tries to improve his position but instead Apene has taken his back!

Apene is persistently looking for the submission but Poo is defending it well.
Apene has the hooks in. Poo is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Apene gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
Apene lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
