Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Troy Stompkick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonathan Weed!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stompkick looks to land a body kick but Weed moved away.
Stompkick misses the shot to the body.
Weed connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Stompkick momentarily.
Weed lands a nice shot that snaps Stompkick's head back.
Stompkick throws a sloppy head kick and Weed moves out of range easily.
A head kick misses from Stompkick.
Stompkick takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Stompkick walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Weed misses with a body shot.
A solid leg kick lands there for Weed.
Stompkick misses with a takedown attempt - Weed sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Weed tries to bum rush Stompkick with a series of wild strikes but Stompkick uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Weed cracks Stompkick with an open hand slap.
Stompkick throws a lazy head kick
and Weed comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Stompkick stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Weed is on him like rabid pit bull! Stompkick slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jonathan Weed!
