Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clyde Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcelinho Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Turner might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Champ is Here . Clyde Turner has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia throws a body punch but Turner moves out of range.
Garcia lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Turner at a distance.
A looping hook to the body misses from Garcia. Turner does a little dance to reset his feet.
Garcia tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Turner was well out of range. Poor timing from Garcia.
Turner throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Garcia sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Marcelinho Garcia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Turner throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Turner takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Turner is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Garcia is aware though and is defending well.

Turner had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Garcia defends it easily.
Garcia has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Turner is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Garcia defends well.

Turner has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Garcia can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Garcia accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Turner wants to sweep but no luck.

Turner working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Garcia doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Garcia manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Turner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
