Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ros Ludovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rick Rypien!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Konstantin Menshow and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ludovic shoots in for a takedown but Rypien shows good takedown defense.
Rypien is looking to clinch.
Ludovic fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ludovic changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rypien tries to avoid it but Ludovic manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rypien to the ground. Rypien escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Rypien lands a left and a right that send Ludovic crashing to the mat, dazed. Rypien thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rypien throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ludovic stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
