PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Tip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and nicolas moya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tip comes into the arena with Roy Jones Jr - Can't Be Touched blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tip has closed the distance and engaged moya in a clinch.

Tip drops back looking for a leg! moya is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and moya manages to kick Tip off! Tip jumps back into moya's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

moya shoots for a double leg takedown but Tip sprawls well. He's pushed moya's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
moya wants to clinch up but Tip keeps it at a distance.
Tip lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Tip lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Tip shoots in and bounces moya off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

moya had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Tip is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. moya Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Tip's back instead.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now moya is on top in guard.
moya slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

moya is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tip is just riding it out for now. moya eventually gives up the hold.

moya has hold of Tip's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Tip manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
