Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, George Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jackson Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Coleman circles away quickly and effectively.
Lewis moves to clinch but Coleman breaks away
and Coleman counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Coleman shoots in for a takedown but Lewis shows good takedown defense.
Coleman throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.


It looks like Jackson Lewis has been cut.
Coleman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lewis as he avoids it easily.
Coleman fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George Coleman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Coleman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

and Lewis counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Coleman's guard now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Lewis counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lewis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Coleman works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Coleman is trying to keep Lewis in close.
Lewis is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Lewis goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Coleman has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Lewis but great work by Coleman.
Lewis is not content to let Coleman control the position.
You can see the frustration on Lewis's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Coleman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Coleman decides to stand back up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Lewis closes the distance and clinches up with Coleman, looking for a takedown. Lewis pushes Coleman against the cage but Coleman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Lewis counters with a left and a right that stings Coleman.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lewis is defended easily by Coleman.

Lewis shoots for a takedown but Coleman saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Lewis tries to clinch up but Coleman circles away and keeps his distance.

Lewis is looking to clinch but Coleman is avoiding it.
Coleman keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
George Coleman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Coleman has his foot on Lewis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lewis works his way back into a safe position though.
