Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leonard Stam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paddy Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stam comes to the cage accompanied by Tony Iommi - Grace. Fox has chosen Roy Jones - Can't be touched as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Stam drops down looking for an ankle pick but Fox pulls his leg out and moves away.

Fox rushes Stam and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Stam is trying to drag Fox to the mat but Fox just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Fox gets underhooks to prevent Stam's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leonard Stam. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fox tries to circle away but Stam has him pinned against the cage.
Fox is trying to break free.

Fox has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Stam is trying to keep an underhook but Fox manages to get the takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Fox trying to pass the guard but Stam defending well.

Stam has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Fox escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Fox!

Stam wants to control but Fox postures up.
Stam sneaks back into half guard.
Fox tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Stam.
Fox is thwarting Stam's attempts to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fox is looking to advance position but Stam won't allow it.
Stam trying to control but Fox postures up.
Stam wants to get back to his feet.
Fox wants to get back to his feet.
Fox wants to free his trapped foot but Stam is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Stam is trying to get back to full guard.

Fox is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Stam has managed to free his arm - good work.

Fox decides to stand up.
Fox throws a right and a left that both miss.
Stam with a lazy takedown attempt
and Fox counters with a straight right hand.
Stam avoids a kick to the body.

Fox keeps the fight on the outside.

Fox gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Fox jumps guard.
Stam looking to sit in guard and control but Fox gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stam looking for a guillotine here but Fox defends easily.

Fox gets to his feet. Stam looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Stam gets tackled into the cage by Fox. Fox maintains the clinch.

Fox misses with some punches.
Fox is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Stam is looking to take this one to the mat.
Fox lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Fox lands with a right to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fox tries to break the clinch but Stam is controlling the position.

Stam pulls Fox into guard.
Stam keeping full guard, as Fox tries to pass.

Fox is sitting in close to Stam's body. Stam has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Fox is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Fox is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Stam.
