Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yoshimitsu Lariato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bam Dunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshimitsu Lariato!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bam Dunn!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunn connects with a nice looking jab.

Lariato takes the fight into the clinch.
Dunn lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!


It looks like Yoshimitsu Lariato has been cut.
Dunn throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Lariato blocks it with crossed arms.
Dunn misses with a knee to the head.
Lariato is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Dunn to keep the fight standing.

Lariato turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Lariato manages to end up in side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Dunn is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dunn tries to improve position but can't.
Lariato working away.
Lariato lands a nice forearm strike.
Dunn is looking for a sweep.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dunn is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Lariato knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dunn on the ground.
You can see the frustration on Dunn's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Lariato decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Dunn misses with a hook.
Dunn misses with a lunging right hand
and Lariato counters with a leg kick.
Lariato misses with a looping left.
Dunn fails in his attempt to clinch.
Dunn is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Lariato slips a jab from Dunn.
Dunn wants to clinch.
Lariato circles away from the clinch attempt

and Lariato counters with a shoot takedown. Dunn fights it but they end up in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lariato lands a couple of digs.
Dunn is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Lariato postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Lariato tries to stand but Dunn is controlling from the bottom.
Lariato sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Dunn is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Dunn is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Lariato is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Bam Dunn!
