Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Christ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dario Crews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crews is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Born on the FM Waves - Against Me. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dario Crews!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christ fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Crews displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Christ.
Crews misses with a looping right.
Crews throws a leg kick which misses Christ's front leg but catches the back leg as Christ tries to avoid it.
A big right from Crews misses.
Christ throws a head kick that misses.
Crews leaves Christ with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jesus Christ. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Crews ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Crews no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Christ drops back, looking for a kneebar! Crews looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Crews looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Crews!
Crews wants to control but Christ is keeping him busy.
Christ is trying to control Crews's posture but Crews avoids it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Crews is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Christ has escaped the position, nice work there.

Crews tries for a kimura but Christ is defending well.
Christ is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Crews trying to control from half guard but Christ is working away.

Crews seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Christ manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Crews is squirming around, avoiding Christ's attempts to control the action.
Christ postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Crews looks a forlorn figure.

Crews wants to control but Christ is having none of it.

Crews is looking to improve his position but Christ isn't that keen on the idea.

Christ can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Crews is looking to escape.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Crews stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Crews wants it to stay on the feet.

Christ tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Crews swivels and escapes.
Christ pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Crews back to the cage. Christ follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Christ tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Jesus Christ overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Christ jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Crews manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Crews holds on to Christ's head and controls the position momentarily.

Christ had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Crews defends it easily.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Christ moves forwards but Crews connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Christ shoots in looking for a takedown. Crews tries to sprawl out of it but Christ keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Crews manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Christ shoots in for a takedown but Crews shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Dario Crews seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Crews scores with a jab. Christ acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Horrible takedown by Christ or perhaps it was just good defense by Crews which made him look bad.

Christ shoots for a double leg takedown but Crews sprawls well. He's pushed Christ's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Crews lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Christ wants to clinch up but Crews keeps it at a distance.

Crews fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Christ has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Christ.
Crews connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Nice uppercut lands for Crews. That snapped Christ's head back.
Crews scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Christ doesn't seem bothered though.
Christ takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Crews is looking to clinch but Christ is avoiding it.

Christ shoots in but no luck this time.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Crews shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Christ eats them both and turns towards Crews to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Crews misses the shot to the body.
Crews connects with the punch.
Christ takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Crews lands an overhand right.

Crews connects with a single shot there.
Crews stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Crews wants it to stay on the feet.
Crews jabs Christ to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Jesus Christ is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Crews moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Dario Crews has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Christ takes one to the chin there.


Christ is rocked!
Christ tries to score a power double leg takedown but Crews sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Christ somewhat.
Oh Christ is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Crews catches Christ napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Christ to the canvas!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Crews drops back looking for a leg! Christ is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Christ manages to kick Crews off! Crews jumps back into Christ's guard.
Christ seems to have got his legs back now.
Christ tries to land a sweep but no joy.

And that's the end of the fight!
Dario Crews comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Christ has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
