The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marks has a takedown stuffed.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Marks.
Kyle Jr fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Kyle Jr defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Marks.
Josh Kyle Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Marks.

That was a close round but I would say that Josh Kyle Jr will probably get the nod.

Marks changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kyle Jr tries to avoid it but Marks manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kyle Jr to the ground. Kyle Jr escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Marks can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kyle Jr is looking to escape.

Kyle Jr tries to lock up and control but Marks gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Marks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kyle Jr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Marks looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Kyle Jr has picked Marks up and slammed him! Marks can't keep hold of the triangle and Kyle Jr manages to pass to side control!

Ryan Marks has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Josh Kyle Jr is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
