Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Club (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jam Balaia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Club comes to the cage accompanied by Jean-Charles Skarbowski . Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Club!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jam Balaia!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Club shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Balaia as he jumps to the side.
Balaia throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Club stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Club shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Balaia defends it nicely.
Balaia changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Club looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Club is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Balaia off and has taken his back!
Club is working for a rear naked choke. Balaia is not defending it well and Club has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Balaia refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Balaia's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Billy Club!
An out of breath Billy Club thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
