Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Connor Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Ochoa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kelly comes into the arena with (When) Your Middle Name Is Danger blaring out of the sound system. Ochoa is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Ice Cube - I Rep That West. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ochoa misses with a looping right.
Kelly tries to score with a low kick but Ochoa moves his leg out of the way.
Ochoa throws a hook but Kelly avoids it easily.

The fighters circle momentarily. Ochoa darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kelly seems to be working for a kimura but Ochoa defends the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kelly is trying to control the action in half guard but Ochoa is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Ochoa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kelly is working away from the top position though.

Kelly seems to be working for a kimura but Ochoa defends the submission attempt.

Kelly is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ochoa doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kelly.
Kelly seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ochoa does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Ochoa is looking for a sweep. Kelly is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Kelly really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kelly is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Ochoa has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Ochoa!

Kelly shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ochoa but Ochoa pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Ochoa is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

The strikes coming from Kelly are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Connor Kelly overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Kelly will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Connor Kelly.
I think Ochoa has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
