The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soderberg shoots in looking for a takedown. Rogers tries to sprawl out of it but Soderberg keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Rogers manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Rogers throws a lazy uppercut

and Soderberg counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rogers won't be happy with that.

Soderberg has hold of Rogers's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Rogers seems comfortable defending it but Soderberg has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Rogers is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Rogers is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Soderberg couldn't care less - he's delighted!
