The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Magnus Machida has been cut.

Machida has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Neztil can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Machida escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Neztil gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Machida has his foot on Neztil's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Neztil works his way back into a safe position though.

Neztil has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Machida is proving hard to escape from.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Neztil misses with a double jab.
Neztil looks to land a combination but Machida avoids it well.
Machida tries for a takedown but Neztil sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Machida tries to bum rush Neztil with a series of wild strikes but Neztil uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Machida sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Neztil's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Magnus Machida will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Machida closes this distance looking for a takedown but Neztil circles away.
Machida misses with an uppercut. Neztil saw that one coming.
A nice inside leg kick there by Neztil. That's going to slow Machida down.
Machida shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Neztil as he avoids it easily.
Neztil drops Machida with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Machida looks back up at him and smiles so Neztil waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Neztil throws an overhand right that has Machida reeling! Neztil follows up with a more punches and Machida is out cold! This one is all over!
