The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
shirk shoots in but no luck this time.
shirk looks for a takedown but Kim sprawls well.
shirk shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kim as he jumps to the side.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Sunmin Kim.

Kim shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in shirk's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they both work up against the meshing.
shirk pulls Kim in close to prevent any damage.
