The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nevar checks a low kick from Marquez.
Nevar takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Marquez.
Marquez misses with an attempted mid kick.
Nevar avoids a kick to the body.
Marquez misses with a wild combination.
Marquez stuffs the takedown attempt from Nevar. Nevar gets slowly back to his feet.
Nevar looks to land a combination but Marquez avoids it well.
Nevar throws a hook to the side of Marquez's head but Marquez sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Marquez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Nevar ducks under a wild hook from Marquez.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Donk. Nevar catches Marquez right on the button with a cross.
It looks like Adrian Marquez has been cut.
Marquez swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Nevar counters with a stiff right hand.
Marquez is rocked!

Oh Marquez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Marquez throws a nice looking combination but Nevar bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Marquez throws a half hearted mid kick.

and Nevar counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
